Giving Back for Dog Day

National Dog Day is celebrated August 26th annually and was founded in 2004 by Pet & Family Lifestyle Expert, Animal Rescue Advocate, Conservationist, Dog Trainer and Author, Colleen Paige, also the founder of many other holidays such as National Puppy Day, National Mutt Day,National Cat Day, National Wildlife Day and many more philanthropic days to bring attention to the plight of animals around the globe and encourage adoption.

Since this day is now popular around the globe, we are calling it 'International Dog Day', and Shaggy Chic is celebrating with a competition for rescued dogs and donations to accredited rescue organisations!

We will donate 5% of your fee to an accredited animal welfare organisation of your choice, for all services booked by new clients, between Wednesday 26 August to Wednesday 2 September 2020.

This will apply to bookings for walks and play dates in our dog park, for grooming, doggy day care, boarding kennels and venue hire, but will be limited to new clients only.

We are also treating 1 lucky rescued doggo to our Sprung Spring Grooming Special, which includes a play date in our dog park, with or without doggy friends, a gentle, thorough wash & massaging condition with #Wumpum products, a blow day & nail trim, & a packet of home-made treats!
